About Us
The ONE L&C Employee Engagement committee’s mission is to help make Lewis & Clark the best place to work by providing inclusive opportunities for our community to engage, learn, and foster wellness. All are welcome to participate, attend a meeting, propose an idea, and join in on the fun!
The following events occur every year and are open to all employees:
- January: One L&C Committee Retreat
- February: Annual Staff Recognition Honoring Years of Service + HR Benefits Fair
- March: Kids and Families Clothing and Toy Swap
- April: Earth Day Hike at Tryon Creek State Natural Area
- May: Green Move Out
- June: Staff Appreciation Picnic
- July and August: Staff lunch potlucks
- September: Help students move in
- October: Halloween Costume Contest and Parade
- November: Turkey Trot
- December: Employee Holiday Party
Made up of more than 150 faculty and staff, we build community and share in the joys of raising children and building families.
Meetings are via Zoom at 2 p.m. on on the last Wednesday of the month. All L&C employees are invited to join the steering committee at any time. If interested, please contact One L&C Chair Reggie Raiford (raiford@lclark.edu).
Members include staff and faculty from across campuses and bargaining units. We set annual goals and undertake employee engagement initiatives in collaboration with Human Resources and the Chief of Staff. Please contact us if you’re interested in joining our planning committee!
