Annual Faculty Technology Institute
Registration is now open for the annual Faculty Technology Institute
May 20 - 24, 2024.
Join us for this year’s Faculty Technology Institute, May 20-24, a fun week dedicated to exploring technology you can use.
Workshops in 2024 will be organized in four tracks: Artificial Intelligence in Education, Inclusive and Engaged Learning, Optimizing the LMS, and Digital Tools and Productivity. We design our schedule to have workshops geared for all levels of interest.
Registration is now open. We are also accepting applications for the 2024 Deep Dive. Details are below.
Overhauling course content can take time, funds, and knowledge that not everyone has at their disposal. This year we are accepting proposals from FTI participants who are interested in a deep dive follow up on AI workshops to adapt or create a related assignment or other course content for a course taught in 2024-25.
Faculty applicants will receive a $200 technology stipend for attending relevant FTI Workshops and developing a detailed project plan. Funding for up to 20 hours of student worker production support for your project is also available, as well as ongoing support during the following academic year. Those interested may apply using this form.
Information Technology is located in Watzek Library on the Undergraduate Campus.
