Lewis & Clark’s Board of Trustees recently welcomed two new members:
Judi Beck is a philanthropist, community volunteer, and a member of the Lewis & Clark Parents Council. She had a long career in marketing and communications before becoming heavily involved with nonprofit organizations. Beck has served on many boards, including the Arts Fund Foundation, KCTS Television, the Oxbow Center of Sustainable Agriculture and the Environment, and the Seattle Public Library.
Ron Timpe BS ’61 is a director of StanCorp Financial Group. From 1998 to 2004, Timpe chaired the board of directors of StanCorp and its principal subsidiary, Standard Insurance Company. He previously served as president and CEO of Standard Insurance Company and StanCorp Financial Group. Timpe, an active community leader, is currently a senior director of the Oregon Business Council and a trustee of the Oregon Health & Science University Foundation.
