In The Spirit

Homecoming and Parents Weekend 2011
More than 1,000 alumni, parents, and friends returned to Lewis & Clark’s campus to show their school spirit during Homecoming and Parents Weekend in October.
Highlights of the busy weekend included Pioneer College faculty lectures; special receptions to mark the retirements of Stephen Dow Beckham, Pamplin Professor of History; Greg Caldwell, associate dean of students and director of International Students and Scholars; David Fix, head track and field coach/assistant cross country coach; and Nicole Aas-Rouxparis, professor of French. Football fans joined current students to watch the Pioneers topple rivals University of Puget Sound, 31-28. The weekend wrapped up with a meeting of alumni professionals and career-minded students for the Careers for Pioneers business mixer.
