On November 2, the law school paid tribute to 2002 Distinguished Graduate Mark Tratos JD ’79 and Honorary Alumna Judge Ellen Rosenblum at a gala dinner and awards presentation in the Legal Research Center.
Tratos is cofounder of Quirk & Tratos in Las Vegas, where he heads the law firm’s entertainment practice. He has received numerous honors, including being named Nevada’s Top Intellectual Property and Entertainment Attorney in 1999. Tratos has been a member of the law school’s Board of Visitors since 1994.
Rosenblum has been a state court trial judge since 1989. In addition to mentoring for Lewis & Clark law students for many years, she has served as a member of the Honorable Robert E. Jones’ trial practice faculty and as a judge for the annual first-year appellate advocacy competition.
