Fall Sports Recap
Women’s Soccer
The women’s soccer team broke the school record for wins in a season with a 10-9-1 overall record and tied the school record for conference wins with a 7-8-1 finish. First-year Isobel Fikso was named to the Northwest Conference First Team, and sophomore Emily Thompson was placed on the Second Team. Also receiving recognition were junior Anna Thorndike, senior Natalie Levy, and senior Geena Fong, who all made the Honorable Mention list. The team had a thrilling 2-1 win over Linfield, which was ranked 19th in the nation at the time.
Cross Country
The women’s cross country team finished sixth in the Northwest Conference championships and sixth at the NCAA Division III West Regionals. Senior Kaitlyn Throgmorton qualified for the NCAA Division III Cross Country Championship after finishing 12th in the regional race.
The men’s cross country team finished fourth in the Northwest Conference and 16th at the West Regionals. They were led by senior Jarrod Nixon, who finished fourth at the conference championships.
Volleyball
Under first-year head coach Stacie Matz, the volleyball team ended the season with a 6-16 overall record and a 5-11 conference record. Two of those wins came over third-place Whitworth in dramatic 3-2 fashion. Junior Kataleya Milan was named to the Northwest Conference Second Team, and senior Kelsie Dorpat was placed on the Honorable Mention list.
