Lewis & Clark’s Board of Trustees recently welcomed Paula Hayes BS ’92 as its newest member. Hayes is the founder, president, and CEO of Hue Noir, a cosmetic manufacturing company in Beaverton, Oregon. Her company specializes in the formulation and development of cosmetic products designed specifically for women of color. Before starting Hue Noir, she worked as a research and development chemist in Southern California.
Hayes served on Lewis & Clark’s Board of Alumni from 2005 to 2011 and has volunteered with the Office of Admissions and the Office of Multicultural Affairs. She earned her M.BA from the University of Phoenix.
She is married to Brett Hayes, an attorney and senior director of Global Real Estate Operations for Nike. They have two sons, Jayden and Camden.
