Forbes’ Best Western Colleges—Lewis & Clark has risen to No. 20 on Forbes’ rankings of the Top 25 Best Western Colleges 2014, cracking the list for the first time. Forbes compiles this list based on specific “outputs”: student satisfaction, post-graduate success, student debt, graduation rate, and academic success. Lewis & Clark’s low loan default rate, strong record of student and alumni fellowship awards, and other outstanding outcomes contributed to the college’s ranking.
U.S. News & World Report—For the third year in a row, U.S. News & World Report has recognized Lewis & Clark’s overseas and off-campus program as one of the best in the nation. Lewis & Clark is the only school in the Pacific Northwest to make the 2015 study abroad list, which also features Dartmouth and Stanford.
Princeton Review’s Green Rating Honor Roll—For the second year in a row, Lewis & Clark has been recognized as one of the greenest schools in the nation, according to the Princeton Review. The college is among only 24 schools to make the publication’s 2015 Green Rating Honor Roll, which highlights sustainability- related practices, policies, and academic offerings.
Sierra Club’s “Cool Schools” List—For the third consecutive year, Sierra magazine has named Lewis & Clark one of its top “Cool Schools,” a list that honors America’s greenest colleges and universities. Lewis & Clark’s institution-wide commitment to sustainability helped it move up 14 places in this year’s list to No. 5. Lewis & Clark is the only school in the Pacific Northwest to be included in the top 10.
