Two Lewis & Clark alumni were recently named to Forbes magazine’s 30 Under 30 list:
Jeff Cruttenden BA ’12 (Forbes’ finance list) is the cofounder of Acorns, an app that rounds up debit and credit card purchases and automatically invests the spare change into diversified portfolios. He majored in math at Lewis & Clark. (Cruttenden was featured in the cover story of the winter 2016 Chronicle.)
Haben Girma BA ’10 (Forbes’ law and policy list) graduated with a degree in sociology/anthropology and went on to earn her JD from Harvard Law School as its first deaf-blind student. She is now a staff attorney at Disability Rights Advocates and works to increase access to technology for people with disabilities. (Girma was also profiled in the winter 2016 Chronicle.)
