A Conversation with Earl Blumenauer BA ’70, JD ’76

One of the highlights of our virtual programming in recent months was the opportunity for the L&C community to spend time with Oregon Congressman Earl Blumenauer BA ’70, JD ’76. Blumenauer covered a variety of topics ranging from the insurrection at the U.S. Capitol on January 6 to the inauguration of President Joe Biden. Political science major Nick Gothard BA ’21 moderated the event, fielding questions from attendees that focused on climate change, election security, transit policy, the Electoral College, bipartisanship, and more.
