Ruth Sigal Funds Graduate School Scholarships and Education Campaign
Lewis & Clark is pleased to announce the creation of the Ruth L. Sigal Scholarship Fund, a five-year, $250,000 gift from Ruth Sigal, a former L&C trustee. Each fall, the fund will provide approximately 40 students enrolled in Lewis &Clark’s Graduate School of Education and Counseling with roughly $1,000 of unrestricted support.
In addition, Ruth wishes to spark a commitment from Lewis &Clark to celebrate the graduate school’s hands-on work. She hopes to get the word out about how L&C graduate students are already serving, healing, and teaching throughout our communities. As Ruth says, “Our world is better for these individuals and for the grad school’s dedication under Dean Scott Fletcher to teaching the helpers, healers, and mentors.”
Ruth truly believes in the college’s campaign message:
What the world needs most is what we do best.”
