Our waste disposal vendor is changing here on campus. We are saying goodbye to Waste Management, while welcoming City of Roses, a small, local, and Black-owned company focused on reducing societal waste and diverting wasteful thinking.
The choice to switch vendors was a no brainer. City of Roses reports diverting over 10,000,000+ pounds of waste out of landfills annually. In addition, City of Roses is a Certified B Corporation which is explained on their website as meeting “the highest standards of verified social and environmental performance, public transparency, and legal accountability to balance profit and purpose.”
