Warm The Winter Clothing Drive
Donations accepted now through December 8.
L&C Baseball is hosting a clothing drive to support Portland’s Operation Nightwatch.
Since 1981, Operation Nightwatch has been providing radical hospitality to alleviate the isolation experienced by those living on the streets.
Items needed (all genders and all sizes):
- Winter Jackets
- Sweatshirts
- Backpacks
- Warm Socks
- Hats and Gloves
How to donate
Contact Matt Kosderka at mkosderka@lclark to have a donation picked up - or - bring items by the Baseball Office (Pamplin 52, next to stairs leading up to Zehntbauer Indoor Pool).

Provides three tarps to distribute.
$50
Pays for enough socks for 75 Operation Nightwatch guests.
$100
Covers one night of counseling services.
$500
Covers an entire weekend of service to 300 Operation Nightwatch guests at the downtown hospitality center.

A Masterful Stroke: Swimmer Wins Top State Honor
Lewis & Clark swimmer Ezra Billings BA ’26 was named the Oregon Small College Men’s Collegiate Athlete of the Year by Sport Oregon. A native of Fairbanks, Alaska, Billings won four events at the Northwest Conference Championship Meet and became the first L&C student to win Northwest Conference Men’s Swimmer of the Year honors.

The river otter, beloved for its scrappiness, teamwork, and Pacific Northwest roots, is officially Lewis & Clark’s new mascot. The adorable, semiaquatic mammal emerged as the top choice among students, alumni, and employees.
