Marriages from the Fall 2024 Lewis & Clark Magazine.
Claire Burdick BA ’12 and Ryan Viles BA ’12 were married on August 26, 2023, at Skamania Lodge in Stevenson, Washington. Among the 120 wedding guests were a number of their fellow Lewis & Clark alumni: Julian Boshard BA ’12, Molly Dickinson BA ’12, Catherine Grella BA ’12, Anna Brook Gutzler BA ’12, Alexa Johnson BA ’12, Maddie Kelly BA ’11, Reed Kelly BA ’11, Kenzie Rowlett BA ’12, Joseph Sibilia-Young BA ’12, and Daniel Yaker BA ’11. Burdick is finishing her PhD in English literature from the University of California at Irvine. Viles is a physician assistant in family medicine at the Portland Clinic. They live in Northeast Portland with their two doodles, Bisou and Missy.
Kory Andersen (now Kory Andersen Wagner) BA ’15 married Madeleine Andersen Wagner on October 20, 2023, in Minneapolis. Attendees included Brendy Hale BA ’15, Susan Camp BA ’15, Marc Steiner BA ’14, Jarrod Nixon BA ’14, Reed Bunnell BA ’15, Sam Smith BA ’13, Passage Crampton BA ’15, Bjorn Hansen BA ’15, and Owen Chambers BA ’14.
Maggie Poffenbarger JD ’16 married Matt Mais on October 14, 2023, in Boulder Creek, California. The wedding was officiated by Loretta Miranda JD ’16.
