Stay Healthy: Flu Vaccination Clinics on Campus

September 19, 2025

Get Healthy - Stay Healthy - Be a Flu Fighter - Get Your Flu Shot

Lewis & Clark’s Student Health Center is partnering with Safeway to host two vaccine clinics for students, staff, and faculty this fall (Kaiser members are covered for flu vaccines). We will be offering influenza and COVID-19 vaccinations on Monday, October 20, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Stamm, within the Fowler Student Center.

Update 10/7/25:

Oregon now allows individuals to receive the updated COVID-19 vaccine without a prescription. As a result, we will now be offering the COVID-19 vaccine at our October 20 clinic in addition to the influenza (flu) vaccine. Our pharmacy partner is not able to check individual insurance coverage on site, so if you are concerned about coverage, please call your insurance provider in advance to confirm if your plan covers the COVID-19 vaccine.

Note that Safeway Pharmacy is unable to bill Kaiser insurance for the COVID-19 vaccine. Kaiser members may receive the flu vaccine only at this clinic.

Schedule your appointment here.

         → Most insurance providers accepted!

To participate in the clinics, Safeway requires that you must:

  1. Bring a PRINTED photocopy of the front and back of your insurance card to leave with the Pharmacist for billing purposes.

- AND -

  1. Complete your consent form. Bring a printed copy of both your completed consent form and your insurance card to your appointment.

Advance sign-ups are recommended for these clinics. Walk-ins are available on a limited basis. If you would like to participate in the clinics, please sign up as soon as possible. It is very important that you bring a copy of your insurance card and completed consent form to your appointment.

If you desire an influenza vaccination, but the above criteria are barriers for you, please e-mail health@lclark.edu for guidance about other possible ways to receive vaccines.
