Search Launched for Graduate School Dean

The search for a new graduate school dean was initiated after Scott Fletcher announced his retirement after 17 years as dean.

“We appreciate immensely the nearly two decades of leadership and service of Dean Fletcher, who is leaving a lasting impact on the graduate school,” Cort Dorn-Medeiros, associate professor and department chair, Counseling, Therapy, and School Psychology, and search committee co-chair said. “This pivotal transition presents an opportunity to find a visionary leader to build on that legacy.”

Summit Search Solutions, Inc., a national firm focused on higher education and nonprofit sectors, will assist with the search process. The job description is posted on the Human Resources webpage and is being advertised broadly.

Summit will hold listening sessions with graduate school faculty, staff, and students this month to collect critical input and guide the selection process. Opportunities for the larger campus community to meet with final candidates will be announced in March.
