All-Campus Earthquake Drill: October 16
Be sure your cell phone is registered with the L&C emergency alert system so that you don’t miss this important safety exercise.

On Thursday, October 16, at 10:16 a.m., students, faculty, and staff will receive an LC alert for the Great Oregon Shakeout earthquake drill. Lewis & Clark participates annually in the Great Oregon Shakeout, a day of earthquake preparedness observed by nations across the world.
“The drill is designed to help familiarize yourself with earthquakes and how to be prepared,” Director of Emergency Management Kevin McVeigh said. “Focus on the basics, like what to do when you feel shaking and what important items to keep in your room or car.”
