Turkey Trot 2025

Highlights from event include runners and walkers from all three campuses filling two wagons with donations for the L&C Student Food Pantry, expressions of gratitude for a chance to get away from the work desk, and a rainbow overhead!

The rain held off, the sun came out, and more than 30 runners and walkers came out for the annual L&C Turkey Trot. The annual events brings together faculty and staff for a lunchtime 2k walk and 5k run. Participants can get a free t-shirt and enter a raffle for free turkeys and tofurkeys. 

“I love the annual L&C Turkey Trot for Faculty & Staff because it is a great chance for colleagues across all three campuses to simply take a walk outside and enjoy the fresh fall weather!” Director of Law Alumni Relations Natasha Richmond said. “Plus, where else can you grab a free t-shirt, compete for a frozen turkey (or tofurkey), and see friendly faces?”

The Lewis & Clark College Support Staff Association (LCCSSA) is sponsoring a four-person family through Lutheran Community Services Northwest Multicultural Community Services. Gifts will be accepted on campus until December 4, and participation from all levels of staff and faculty are welcomed and encouraged.
