The Irene D.W. Hecht Annual International Scholarship was established in 2012 by Dr. Joan Pearson, class of 1969, in honor of Irene Hecht, a professor who taught Western Civilization at Lewis & Clark.
This scholarship is awarded to a female student from Africa who is enrolled as a Davis United World College Scholar.
