John V. Baumler Memorial Scholarship

The John V. Baumler Memorial Scholarship was established in 1994 by Dr. Baumler’s wife June. Dr. Baumler was a faculty member in business and administrative studies. During his tenure at Lewis & Clark, Dr. Baumler and his family hosted a number of international students and became involved in international programs and activities.

The scholarship is awarded annually to an international student who demonstrates financial need, with preference given to a student majoring in economics. The recipient should be dedicated, industrious, mature, and have a strong work ethic.
