Candidate Statement:
Hi, my fellow internationals!
Each one of you with whom I’ve had the chance to converse knows how deeply the international student body shapes my LC experience and holds a special place in my heart. We are a strong and brave group, united by our ambition to achieve meaningful and beautiful goals—far from home.
I do not believe in vertical leadership. Yet, I’m running for presidency because (I hope) you feel comfortable sharing your struggles and victories with me. I want to represent our multiple, and somehow intersectional, identities and work to give ISLC the visibility it deserves on this campus!
