One of the things I enjoyed most about my UWC experience was the opportunity to travel frequently during the breaks. During my time at UWC SEA, I explored several countries around Asia for the first time, and each trip felt like a refreshing opportunity to learn, reflect, and grow outside the classroom. These experiences opened my mind and helped shape the way I see the world.
I was drawn to Lewis & Clark because of how colorful and unique it felt—it gave me the impression that, if it were a food, it would be rich, bold, and full of flavor.
I’m planning to major in Psychology because I love understanding behavior—why people do what they do, what drives them, and how we relate to one another. I find it fascinating to observe patterns in human actions and emotions.
Outside of academics, I spend a lot of time watching animation of all kinds. It’s a space where imagination runs free, and I find it endlessly inspiring. Academically, I’m also really interested in history, math, and logic—subjects that let me explore the structure behind how things work, whether in societies or in systems. Something I’d like people to know about me is that I’m actually very funny, especially when I’m not consciously trying to be polite and reserved. At Lewis & Clark, I hope to grow into a competent and independent adult, someone who not only knows how to take care of herself, but who also builds a life that is meaningful and sustainable—ideally one that includes making a decent amount of money, too.
