Hi, my name is Peya-Oshela. I’m originally from Namibia and a Mahindra UWC International alumnus. Attending a UWC was one of the greatest experiences of my life. What I enjoyed most was the incredible diversity, not just in where people came from but in how they thought, expressed themselves and engaged with the world. It taught me to approach every conversation with curiosity and empathy. I met some of the most amazing people and built beautiful friendships during my time there.
I was drawn to Lewis & Clark because it seems to have that same strong sense of community. It feels like a place where I could continue the kind of open and honest learning I experienced at UWC.
At Lewis & Clark, I plan to major in Chemistry and Environmental Studies because I’m passionate about STEM and the environment.Outside the classroom, I’m a very creative person. I love painting, making music, hiking and being in nature.
I hope to build meaningful relationships at Lewis & Clark and keep learning and growing both inside and outside the classroom.
