Hey, I’m Nora. At UWC East Africa, one of the things I enjoyed most was the diversity of the community. I loved taking part in events like Cultural Nights, International Day, and the 24-Hour Run, which raised money for scholarships. These events really brought us together and helped me learn so much about different cultures and people.
I chose Lewis & Clark because of its beautiful location, the wide variety of courses, and especially because it offers the program I’m most excited about. I’ll be majoring in Psychology and minoring in Public Health, as I’m passionate about understanding how people think, feel, and behave, and how we can improve health and well-being in our communities.
Outside of academics, I enjoy swimming, crochet, and doing fun, creative activities with friends. These hobbies help me relax and bring joy into my daily life.
Something interesting about me is that I love the idea of traveling and seeing the world—even though I’ve never been outside Africa. So far, I’ve only traveled within East African countries, but every trip has taught me something new, and I hope to explore more of the world in the future.
At Lewis & Clark, I hope to make meaningful friendships, try new things, and grow both academically and personally while being part of a diverse and inspiring community.
