David Officer ’85

David Officer graduated from Lewis & Clark College with a double major in Business and Communication. While he was at Lewis and Clark, he was very active in the Associated Students of Lewis and Clark’s Executive Council for three years.

He earned his MBA from the University of Washington in Marketing and Human Resources. He worked in human resources for almost three decades at the executive level for companies such as T-Mobile, Netflix, Providence, Holiday Retirement, and several other Fortune 500 firms. His focus was on building strong cultures, leadership development, recruiting, and executive coaching.

He currently is the owner of Innovative Transports Corporation, a FedEx contractor serving communities in Oregon and Washington. His second company is Innovative Hires an executive coaching and recruiting firm.

His community service includes: Board member of the Dougy Center for grieving children, a member of the State of Oregon’s Workforce Investment Board, Lewis and Clark’s Entrepreneur Board, and the Society of Human Resource Management.

He has been an active member of the entrepreneur community in Portland for the past several years both as an investor and coach. He currently is a member of the Oregon Entrepreneur Network.
