Big changes are coming to Akin Hall, and they’re all about making this campus landmark shine! As one of the most highly visible residence halls at the heart of campus, Akin is getting a major exterior refresh to enhance both its durability and aesthetics.

Wood Rot Repairs: We’re fixing up soffits and windows to keep the building sturdy and strong for years to come.

Full Exterior Paint Job: Akin Hall will get a fresh coat of paint, including specialty paint for the brick, giving it a clean, modern look while preserving its historic charm.

Campus Cohesion: These updates will complement the design of the adjacent Fowler Center and the recently renovated Stewart-Odell Hall, creating a more unified, polished look as part of the heart of campus.
