Regulatory Compliance
Lewis & Clark College is committed to providing a safe and healthy environment in which to work and live. Facilities Services supports this commitment through clear policies, ongoing oversight, and a campus-wide Safety Committee that monitors conditions, evaluates concerns, and recommends solutions to safety-related issues. Facilities policies are reviewed with new employees by supervisors and are available electronically for ongoing reference.
The Regulatory Compliance Manager, Jason Holmgren, oversees a broad range of compliance and safety programs, including the safe driving program; OSHA workplace safety requirements; fire suppression systems; elevators; ADA compliance, including barrier removal and coordination of reasonable accommodations; hazardous waste disposal and EPA/DEQ compliance; environmental safeguarding; ergonomic assessments and job site modification planning; indoor air quality testing; and water quality testing. Jason also oversees the campus Safety Committee, serves as a secondary point of contact for workers’ compensation and insurance claims, and is a member of the College’s Emergency Operations Center team.
