Volunteers Needed for Student Green Move Out Event: May 6–7

As students prepare to move off campus for the summer, we are seeking volunteers to help ensure students will donate usable items on May 6 and 7.
Employees wishing to volunteer will need to use the #CampusClear App prior to arriving on campus. After answering the #CampusClear App survey question, the app will tell you whether or not you are cleared to come to campus. The app is available for Apple or Android devices or can be used on the web. Click here for detailed information about how to download and use the app.
Donation bins will be located outside the resident halls and volunteers will be stationed near donation bins to assist students in properly sorting their things (bin locations below).
Donation bins will be available May 5 - 9. Unwanted furniture should be taken to a donation bin location. (Important note to students: If a volunteer is present, please let them know your furniture is intended to be donated.)
What can be donated:
- Clothing
- Furniture
- Household Items
- Tools
- Appliances
- Toiletries
- Electronics (these may not go in dumpsters)
Donation bin locations:
- Copeland, Platt/Howard, Holmes, Manzi, Spruce, East/West, Stewart
We will not be hosting the swap event in Tamarack this year.
