OEI Launches Employee Resource Groups
The Office of Equity and Inclusion is excited to announce the launch of Employee Resource Groups for all Lewis & Clark employees.
Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) are voluntary, employee-led groups that foster inclusion and mutual support. These groups are generally formed around common identities, interests, or backgrounds, and give people who share those identities a space to network, support each other, and build community.
“ERGs are a way to encourage staff and faculty collaboration, bridge the gap between our three campuses, and get to know members within our community,” Dean of Equity and Inclusion Danielle Torres said. “We’ve heard a desire from the community for more opportunities for cross-campus-staff-faculty camaraderie and this is an institutionally-supported initiative to respond to that.”
