Adding a New Out of State Registration
Lewis & Clark College is set up for payroll taxes in the following states. Final candidate(s) who reside in a state where Lewis & Clark College is not set up requires adding a new state(s) via the following process:
-
- The Department and the Dean’s approval
- Contact Payroll for registration details for the state
- The Department to absorb all registration costs
Please note: Registering a new state will take up to approximately 8 weeks. Each state has their own rules and many states require registration and taxation on day 1 when work is performed in their state.
We do not hire candidates from out of state for temporary positions if we are not already registered there.
We cannot, under any circumstances, hire employees who work in other countries.
