A Retirement Book for Valerie White
The Center for Spiritual Life, as neighbors to our Ombuds in lower Flanagan, would like to assemble a book of letters, photos, memories as a physical memento that Valerie can enjoy in her retirement from Lewis & Clark.

The Center for Spiritual Life is continuing our commitment to rest and resistance by expanding our group naps in to a continuous rest space in the chapel.
Spiritual Resources during hard times
While we are past the worst of the pandemic lock down, we still face challenges in our lives, whether it be global violence, the loss of a loved one, or existential dilemmas. Please do know that our Chaplain to all (spiritual, secular, and religious) and Director of Spiritual Life is here to support you. Those of us in the Center for Spiritual Life appreciate each of you and your student groups and activities, and we celebrate the interconnectedness and interdependence of our community.

Students and staff joined together for a three-hour labyrinth walking workshop in the Gregg Pavilion. - EVENTS October 21: 4:45pm
Teach-In - Palestine and Israel: Intersecting Affinities and Alternative Futures
Teach-ins bring together faculty and other speakers to reflect on topics, themes, and histories pertinent to the aims of the course. The teach-in tradition on college campuses in the United States recognizes that institutions of higher education are uniquely positioned to address pressing issues of social and political concern as an educational responsibility. Teach-ins draw on the scholarly expertise of faculty sensitive to the ethical and political implications of teaching and learning.
These events will include opportunities for questions and will be open to the full Lewis & Clark community (students, staff, and faculty from CAS, Law, and GSEC.)
This event will not be streamed remotely.

Lewis & Clark College students are invited to participate in Awakened Awareness: Spiritual Mind Body Practices for Enhanced Well-Being.
Each 8-week, 90-minute workshop includes meditation practices, an introduction to Awakened Awareness concepts, and sharing of reflections. During these 8 weeks you will learn techniques and tools to reduce anxiety and stress, increase overall wellbeing, and find deeper meaning and purpose in your life.
Please attend an info session on Sept 5 or Sept 8 and register using this Google form: https://tinyurl.com/2fbm8dwc.
Participants may opt in to research being conducted by the Spirituality and Psychology Lab at Teachers College, Columbia and be paid $35 in Amazon gift cards.

Lewis & Clark College students are invited to participate in Awakened Awareness: Spiritual Mind Body Practices for Enhanced Well-Being. The Thursday cohort is specially aimed at students who identify as wrestling with eco-anxiety.

An open, peer-led meeting for those in recovery, friends and family of people with substance-related challenges, and anyone contemplating a change in their relationship to substances. All are welcome!
Thursdays starting September 26th from 5:30-6:30pm in Fowler 110 (Health Promotion and Wellness office).
