Students from different cultures, countries, languages, and experiences are invited to come together in dialogue to reflect and connect meaningfully about their lived experiences being in the US to study abroad at L&C. In dialogue, participants will explore ways each of their individual experiences may resonate, differ, or support one another.
‘Cosmos,’ the series title, comes from the word cosmopolitan (n.): including or containing people from many different countries; another word for international. The purpose of these dialogues is to open a space where people from different countries can share their experiences of studying abroad in the US and foster connectivity and support through mutual understanding.
“We hope this is a space where we can express the unique journeys we are on. With this fresh take, we have a desire for the members of our community to hear different experiences, and meaningfully connect with one another.”
Cosmos is comprised of a series of dialogues open to International Students most weeks throughout Spring 2025. Cosmos is designed, run, and facilitated fully by International Students. Registration is required for participation in all Community Dialogues.
