Welcome Students!

The Lewis & Clark College Student Health Center (SHC) is ready to help address your physical and mental health concerns during your time at school. Our services are confidential, available to all registered students, and accessible on campus. We take a holistic, integrated approach that centers the individual student and aims to meet each person right where they are at without judgement. Our wonderful team includes three medical providers (two NPs and one MD), one registered nurse, a medical receptionist, and our Director. Visits to meet with a provider are free, and costs for additional services are generally low and always reviewed before proceeding. To make an appointment, please call 503-768-7165 or book online.

WINTER BREAK CLOSURE AND HOURS

The Student Health Center will be closed for the winter break starting Thursday, December 18th, at 12:00pm.

We will be OPEN FOR MEDICAL APPOINTMENTS on January 8th, 9th, 12th, and 13th at the hours below:

Thursday, January 8th: 8:00am - 4:30pm

Friday, January 9th: 8:00am - 4:30pm

Monday, January 12th: 1:00pm - 4:30pm

Tuesday, January 13th: 8:00am - 4:30pm

Administrative support will be available via email only at health@lclark.edu starting January 5th on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays while the medical clinic is closed. This service will be available for assistance with scheduling appointments and answering non-medical questions.

Voicemail and phones will not be continuously monitored throughout the break. Please anticipate a delay in reply.

If you are in need of a refill for a medication prescribed by the Student Health Center anytime during this closure, please contact your pharmacy to have them submit a refill request.

We hope you have a restful break! We will resume our full weekly schedule on January 20th (see typical hours below).

Appointments can be scheduled by calling 503-768-7165, stopping by the clinic, or logging into the secure Health Information Portal. All visits are by appointment only.

The SHC is located in Fowler Student Center. Our clinic has a separate entrance on the lower level, north side of the building, beneath the Trail Room.

*Office closed for staff meeting Tuesdays 11:00 a.m. - 12 Noon.

AFTER HOURS RESOURCES

If you are in need of urgent medical care during a known clinic closure, please seek evaluation off campus. Here is a list of local urgent cares and hospitals.

If you are experiencing a health emergency and you are on campus, call 9-1-1 and notify Campus Safety at 503-768-7777.

If you require medical care after hours, or during business hours and no same-day appointments are available, please seek care off campus. Here is a list of local urgent cares and hospitals.

Alternatively, Dispatch Health is a concierge service available at dispatchhealth.com or by calling 503-714-8987. Be sure to check with your insurance company to ensure coverage for services outside the Student Health Center.

If you are in need of urgent or crisis mental health support, the Lewis and Clark Crisis Counseling line is available all hours by calling 503-265-7804. You can also access the crisis text line by texting “Oregon” to 741-741.

HEALTH INFORMATION PORTAL

Registering for our secure portal will allow you to input your historical immunization information, schedule and cancel medical appointments, send and receive secure messages, and obtain copies of your receipts/statements to send to your insurance company for reimbursement
