Come join the Housing and Food insecurity Cohort and the Center for Social Change and Community Involvement to volunteer at Blanchet House’s dinner service.
Blanchet House is a wonderful organization that provides food for anyone who walks through their door and supports the unhoused community through housing and resources.
We will meet in front of Fowler at 4:00pm to carpool, or make you can make your own way to Blanchet house, arriving no later than 4:30pm.
We will serve dinner together (no service experience necessary) and then we will eat together before being back at campus around 7pm.

L&C Open Studio is a weekly studio session providing individuals a place to come to create and find community. These sessions are held in-person at the Lewis & Clark Community Counseling Center. Attend for the full 3 hours or drop in as long as you can. Select dates offer a virtual zoom option as well.
Participants may begin a new piece using a gentle prompt offered at the beginning of each session or work on pieces already in progress. Sessions are an opportunity to connect in a time where connection is needed most. Facilitators are Lewis & Clark art therapy faculty and art therapy graduate students.
There is an option to attend an Open Studio session online, via Zoom, on the following dates:

- November 21st, 2024
- December 12, 2024
- January 30th, 2025
- February 27th, 2025
- March 20th, 2025
- April 24th, 2025
Participants must be at least 18 years old and registration is required.

The Let Out is a space which centers on the BIPOC experience at college and how mental health plays a part in this experience. All are welcome to participate in this space through listening and supporting each other. It is facilitated by one of our on-campus mental health counselors. The counselor is there to guide discussions and answer questions about mental health challenges while offering ways to cope while at college.
So, if you’re needing a space to decompress, learn new skills, or talk it out, this is the perfect space to do so. We meet every 1st and 3rd Wednesday from 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm, in Lower Odell, Rm 008

The students will present their work on April 7 and April 14, both online and in South Chapel on the graduate campus.

Music, theatre, and dance might not be the first things you think of when you hear “library,” but Lewis & Clark’s Aubrey R. Watzek Library is much more than a place for quiet study. On the first Friday of every month, Arts@LC takes over the Watzek atrium to showcase student participation in the performing arts. The final events of the fall semester featured actors from the Main Stage theatre production Into the Woods and dancers from theatre’s contact improv class.

With support from the Mellon Foundation, Northwest Narrative Medicine Collaborative (NWNMC) is developing Narrative Medicine Skills Training.
Narrative Medicine Skills Training introduces the narrative medicine principles of attention, representation, and affiliation and develops participant skills of listening and witnessing. We will reflect on how listening and witnessing can be applied to stories of health, illness and healing in diverse healthcare settings to improve care and support healing.
Training is open to students, health professionals, faculty, staff and community members– anyone curious about the practice of narrative medicine.
