Inspired by Humans of New York, Humans of Lewis & Clark (HoLC) emerged as a storytelling project aimed at capturing the diverse experiences, voices, and personalities within the Lewis & Clark College community. Whether through heartfelt personal stories, quirky anecdotes, or moments of quiet reflection, HoLC serves as a digital archive of the students, faculty, and staff who shape the college’s culture.

The project began as an initiative to document and celebrate the unique identities that make up Lewis & Clark. Much like its New York counterpart, the Humans of LC team collects portraits tied to anonymous narratives, offering a small glimpse into the lives of those who might otherwise remain strangers on campus.

Over time, HoLC has grown into more than just a social media page or photography project; it’s a community-driven movement that fosters empathy, connection, and appreciation for the stories that surround us every day. Through its lens, we see Lewis & Clark not just as an academic institution but as a tapestry of lived experiences where each story adds another thread to the fabric of our shared history.

This is where you come in! We’re always looking for talented faculty, staff, and students to be part of Humans of Lewis & Clark. We would love to hear you share your story. If you’re interested in being featured, fill out the form below and help us celebrate the voices that make Lewis & Clark special.
